Biography

The project NYBO started in June 2007, when Benjamin recieved an unexpected call. It's his friend Jakob Winther, who asks if they can meet up ant chat. Benjamin arrives at the meeting, not knowing what Jakob Winther wants. The first thing up is a new recording of the EP Runaway.

After the meeting it's a rush finding new bandmembers and a reahearsal place. Short afterwards Benjamin and Jakob Winther has created et serious and ambitious projekt, which involves promoting Benjamins music. Early 2008 Benjamin went to the studio to record the EP "Pearls", which he still gets great comments on. But in October 2008 the project starts to lag slightly. First the drummer Christian Askjaer widthdraws.

After Christians sad call, NYBO gets in contact with the drummer Christian Lynggaard, who quickly turn out to be the right for NYBO. After that, NYBO plays a lot of cool gigs, until January 2009. Then Jakob Winther starts to talk about his dreams of a record studio in Copenhagen. After some talking, NYBO and Jakob agrees to split up.

NYBO then plays on in different constellations, until December 2009, where NYBO gets in contact with the bass player Anders Larsen. After that the projekt is on track and NYBO has is strong again. Now the plans are a new demo recording in the end of 2010, and a lot of gigs and hours in the rehearsal place is planned.
